So here we are, after more than 2 years of trying to find a way to make the lives of our fellow "cityzen's" and in turn our City itself. But finally one turns to the line of work they are in to find solutions in their everyday problems. And we turned to our sector of IT development and developed the Cityzen App which attempts to bring project management style work culture to the city.
Let us take an everyday example of anybody who has worked in a well structured company. How do we get our workplace problems solved? For example if your office chair is slightly broken and although you are able to function, it brings a certain amount of discomfort when using it. How do we get it fixed? We report it to the concerned department (read HR./Admin) right? We don't just sit around and hope that the HR will notice it by themselves somehow and fix it for you, do we?
So while in most cases it would be a verbal report, but when you are talking about around 20000 or so people under each HR/Admin representative, one can easily see that that would not be a good idea, and some kind of paper trail is required so they can do their job well.
That is exactly the case with us and our corporators, So how do we currently get things fixed if they're broken? Unfortunately we don't, and those that do want to report, it is a hell of a ride to the Government offices or officials with tons of paperwork, most of which doesn't even make sense.
With the Cityzen App , now all you have to do is take a picture and post it, without even bothering about whom to report it to and how. Cityzen will take those complaints to the right People of Position and give it our best that they fix it for you and for everybody. Infact there is a lot of interest from these people of position to sign up with us, so that they can get these problems resolved without ANY paperwork for you. So all you have to do is download the FREE app on your Android phones (other phones to be added shortly), and start contributing towards a better society and a Better #SmartPune.
Please feel free to ask any questions or give us any kind of feedback on how we can make this even better. You can do so by asking questions openly on this page or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
And please do share, because there is a lot of negativity on social media right now, and we need the positive one's to make ourselves heard.
